This article outlines the steps to download your tax slips from your existing CRA My Account. If you have not created an account with the CRA yet, you will need to do this first.

Instructions

Step One: Open the Government of Canada website.

Step Two: You have three options to log into your CRA My Account, with the first option being the most commonly used. Please select the login option that you prefer.

Step Three: All you need is your login and password for the login method that you choose.

Step Four: Multi-factor authentication is required – Choose one of the two options (Text me or Call me) to receive a one-time passcode required to complete the authentication.

Step Five: Enter the code provided and click Next.

Step Six: From the Overview dashboard, scroll down and click Tax information slips (T4 and more).

Step Seven: Select a Tax Year and the tax slip option under Information slip, then click View.

Step Eight: Click the hyperlink on Original to download a copy of your tax slip details.
