This article explains when your tax slip will be issued and what you can do to ensure you receive it on time.
Quick answer
Tax slips will be available by the last day of February, following the tax year.
When are tax slips issued?
In Canada, employers and payers must issue T4, T4A, and RL‑1 slips to both the CRA and workers no later than the last day of February.
Procom may issue slips earlier if our year‑end reconciliations are completed ahead of schedule. As soon as your slip is issued, you’ll be able to access it immediately.
Your tax slip will be available electronically through the Contractor Portal.

How will tax slips be provided?
Digital copies
Digital tax slips will be available for:
- T4 employees
- Sole Proprietor workers
This applies to tax year 2024 and onward (2025 and onward for RL-1 slips).
Mailed copies
A paper copy will only be mailed if:
- You are an inactive contractor who has not consented to digital‑only delivery, or
- You have explicitly requested a mailed copy.
When will digital copies be available?
Digital slips will appear in the Contractor Portal as soon as they are issued, typically at the end of February.
When will mailed copies be sent?
Mailed slips are sent out immediately after we file with the CRA, no later than the last day of February.
They are sent via Canada Post, and delivery may take up to 10 business days, so you should expect to receive your slip by early March.
Has your address changed?
To ensure your mailed tax slip arrives safely:
- Update your address by the end of January.
- If your address is not updated, your slip may be sent to the wrong location.
- Even if you only receive a digital slip, it’s still important to keep your address current because it appears on your tax slip.
To update your address, please submit a request using the button below.
Important note
T4, T4A, and RL‑1 slips are issued only to:
- Temporary Employees, and
- Sole Proprietors
