All Canadian employees (temporary and permanent) are entitled to vacation pay. Procom's standard process is to accrue vacation as you earn wages, generally calculated as 4% of earnings. Some provinces may have slightly different calculations for vacation pay. For instance, in Saskatchewan, vacation pay is calculated by multiplying earned wages by 3/52 (5.77%).
Since it is earned on an accrual basis, the vacation pay will accumulate and you will need to request it to be released by clicking the button below.
You can request the release of your accrued vacation pay at any time, provided that the balance is sufficient to cover the amount you request. You also may have vacation pay released without taking vacation time. However, we recommend you take it when taking days off because it is intended to supplement your income when you aren't working.
